Creating Opportunities for Community
Contractors and Residents

Synterra, Ltd. conducted community workshops with contractors, community organizations and local residents to increase opportunities in the areas of employment and education. Synterra, Ltd.'s firmly established commitment to community enhancement and development proved valuable in securing these goals.

We established a program dedicated to long term community involvement with a specific focus on education and job training. The program also concentrates on long term business commitments that maximize the involvement of local community contractors in projects throughout the City of Philadelphia. The Julia de Burgos Bilingual Elementary School is a prime example of this program at work.

One specific and measurable goal of the program was to help advance community contractors so that their services are utilized regularly in any location. This project fulfills the mission of a School District and community dream. We look forward to referencing this project as a model where teamwork and free exchange of needs and objectives yields results that will enhance the entire community.
