Synterra, Ltd. has extensive experience in the design and documentation of attractive and functional transit facilities.

Because most of the stations and maintenance yards were located in urban areas, an important consideration in the site plans for both new and renovated transit centers was increasing surrounding land values.

By working to ensure good communications with the adjacent communities, Synterra, Ltd. was able to produce designs which satisfied the neighbors as well as the transit authorities and with no hidden surprises. Historic buildings at Woodland Facility, Penn Station and the Sudbrook Park Historic District received sensitive treatment.

Parking and maintenance facilities were accommodated where needed. As part of several large teams of transit design experts, Synterra, Ltd. helped produce plans on time and within budget for these complex projects.
